With effect from the end of 2012 in the European countries will be required by law to install a tires pressure monitor system on each car in order to improve travelling safety and also to reduce the ecological car impact.
The continuous car tire pressure control is essential:
  • To improve travellers safety
  • To reduce the fuel and the tread consumption
  • To reduce ecological car impact
A specific study has underlined that:
- Each tire is losing 0.2 pressure bar every three months, naturally.
- 90% of tires are not fully inflated.
- 89% of drivers make a tire pressure control less than once in a year.
- 2/3 of drivers make a tire pressure control only in the case of a long trip (before summer holidays)
- Cars manufacturers think that 75% of road accidents have been caused by flat tires.
- A flat tire worsen grip and car control, reducing the capacity of holding the road, the car braking distance and the car steadiness during braking.
- During 2006 in Europe, 260.000 road accidents have been caused by flat tires.
- When the tire pressure is about 0,5 bar less standard, CO2 emission increase of 2,5 ÷ 6,5 g/Km.
Particularly, tire life is 30% shorten, fuel consumption and CO2 emission 3% increased.

Finally, driving with fully inflated tires let you have a better roadholding, more travellers comfort and a lot of money saving.
